Botoșani Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture is authorized by Law 335/2007, cap. III, art. 28, alin. 2, lit. g, to issue certificates of origin.
A certificate of origin is a document used in international trade to certify that goods have been produced in a particular country.
Certificates of origin are issued both for direct Romanian exports and for externally funded programs at national level.
Documents needed to obtain a certificate of origin:
For the issuance of certificates of origin for Romanian exports, the Romanian exporter shall submit an application form accompanied by the following documents:
- declaration of origin;
- external invoice;
- credential and/or contract;
- power of attorney / delegation;
- other documents proving the origin: foreign certificate of origin, customs declaration, technological product file, etc.
For the issuance of certificates of origin required under externally funded programs, the applicant shall submit an application form accompanied by the following documents:
- declaration of origin;
- the related invoices;
- the grant contract (concluded between the final beneficiary and the funding agency);
- power of attorney / delegation;
- other documents proving the origin: foreign certificate of origin, customs declaration, technological product file, etc.
All of the above documents must be submitted in original or certified copy (if applicable).
