Organization, in partnership with the EEN Centre of CCI Bacău and the EEN Centre of Tehnopolis Iasi, of a workshop on the theme Enterprise Europe Network for SMEs with internationalization potential and innovation capacity. The event was attended by representatives of 34 companies from Botoșani, the Mayor of Botoșani and Senator Eugen Teodorovici, former Minister of the Ministry of European Funds and former Minister of Finance in the Romanian Government. In 2016, 2 projects were submitted with European funding under the POCU 2014-2020 program

  • ”YOU ARE THE CHANGE - Sustainable community development through integrated support measures”, submitted under Priority Axis 4 - Social inclusion and combating poverty, Component 1 - Integrated Local Development (DLI 360) in marginalized non-rrom marginalized communities. CCIA Botoșani is the APPLICANT. The project has 6 other partners: Botoșani City Hall, Acquisition Career Management SRL Bucharest, Elena Rareș Secondary School Botoșani, Botoșani Local Public Service of Social Assistance, Lux-Ro SRL Botoșani, Consensual Association Iasi. The general objective of the project is to reduce by 555 the number of people at risk of poverty and social exclusion in the marginalized community (non-Roma) determined and geographically delimited in the Municipality of Botoșani, Botoșani County. The project will contribute to the achievement of the specific objective of the programme and the call by implementing integrated measures in the field of education, employment, social/medical/medico-social services, improvement of living conditions and in the field of legal assistance for the regulation of acts for 555 persons at risk of poverty and social exclusion in the marginalized (non-Roma) community geographically delimited in the Municipality of Botoșani. Through all these measures, the project will produce a positive long-term effect, namely to overcome the situation of vulnerability of the marginalized community at risk of poverty and social exclusion 6 months after the termination of support. The total value of the project will be 17.958.354,05 lei (4.024.461,39 euro), of which the CCIA Botosani budget will be 5.821.365,94 lei (1.304.566,24 euro). The project will have a duration of 34 months.
  • Let's Start Up Your Business! submitted under Priority Axis 3, Investment Priority 8iii, call for projects POCU/82/3/7/Increasing employment by supporting non-agricultural enterprises in urban areas. CCIA is the Applicant and has as partners: Acquisition Career Management S.R.L Bucharest, PARTNET Association - Partnership for Sustainable Development Bucharest, Chamber of Commerce and Industry Suceava, Association for Integration and Community Development INDECO Iasi, Association CONSENSUAL Iasi. The project activity will be carried out over 36 months, following 3 pre-established stages:

Stage I - Entrepreneurship training

I.1. Informing the public about the entrepreneurship training program, as well as about the methodology for selecting the target group and, subsequently, the business plans to be supported within the project;

I.2 Selection of the target group that will participate in the courses organized within the entrepreneurship training program;

I.3 Running the entrepreneurial training program;

I.4 Selection of business plans to be financed within the project;

I.5 Internships;

Stage II - Implementation of business plans financed by ESF funds

II.1 Provision by the entrepreneurship scheme administrator of personalized advisory/consultancy/ mentoring services after the finalization of the business plan selection process;

II.2 Ensuring the establishment and start-up of the enterprises that will realize the business plans with de minimis aid within the project;

II.3 Monitoring by the entrepreneurship scheme administrator of the functioning and development of the funded business;

II.4 Disbursement by the entrepreneurship scheme administrator of the amounts related to the implementation of the business plans selected within the project;

Stage III - Program for monitoring the functioning and development of the funded businesses during their sustainability period

The total value of the project will be 22.279.673,25 lei (4.997.123,08 euro), of which the budget of CCIA Botoșani will be 4.792.068,42 lei (1.074.816,29 euro).
