The Botoșani County Agency for Employment, in partnership with the Botoșani Chamber of Commerce and Industry, announces the launch of the INFOCONECT project, starting July 1, 2025. The project has a duration of 17 months and has a total funding of 2.485.111,17 lei from European funds.
The overall objective of the project is to facilitate access to employment or job retention for 305 unskilled and low-skilled people aged between 18 and 64 years from Botoșani County. It is based on a detailed analysis of the needs in the territory, from which it emerged that a significant part of the adult population is confronted with a lack of basic skills and qualifications required on the current labor market.
Activities and benefits for participants:
All persons in the target group will benefit from individual career counseling and guidance sessions, during which a personalized career plan will be drawn up. Based on this, participants will be able to follow a vocational training program from the planned package to be provided by each of the project partners.
Qualification courses will be organized in the following occupations:
- Beams, adobe and stone construction worker
- Kitchen helper
- Textile assembler
- Data entry, validation and processing operator
The project also aims to support people who have not completed any school education and/or lack basic skills in Romanian language, math or IT. Thus, a minimum of 48 people with ISCED 0 education level or with difficulties in these areas will participate in personalized training sessions to acquire these skills, facilitating their social and professional integration.
🔹 The overall objective of the project is to facilitate access to employment or job retention for 305 un/low-skilled people aged between 18 and 64 years from Botosani County by strengthening the capacity of participants to adapt to changes in the labor market, facilitating transitions between jobs or professional fields, and increasing occupational mobility through basic packages (career guidance and career counseling services, as well as skills assessment / certification or vocational training programs).
Specific objectives of the project:
🔹 Objective 1: Support the transition to sustainable employment and reduce the risk of social exclusion by providing career counseling and guidance services to 305 people. These services aim to assess existing skills, identify gaps and set a clear direction for professional development.
🔹 Objective 2: Promote quality employment through participation in vocational training, skills assessment and certification programs. Beneficiaries will improve their skills and will be able to access more stable and better paid jobs, thus contributing to increased employment and poverty reduction in Botoșani County.
