CCIA BOTOSANI is aware of the importance of your personal data and is committed to protecting their confidentiality and security. Therefore, it is important for us to provide you in an integrated manner with the information related to the processing of your personal data within these Terms and Conditions.
Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture Botosani (CCIA Botosani) is established and operates under Law no. 335/2007 of the Chambers of Commerce in Romania and HG 799/1990, being a non-governmental, autonomous, non-profit, public utility organization, with legal personality, which represents, supports and defends the general interests of the business community in Botosani County, aiming to promote and develop industry, trade, services and agriculture, in accordance with the requirements of the market economy.

CCIA BOTOSANI respects the privacy of all customers and the confidentiality of all visitors to our websites and will treat/process personal data with great care, in technical and organizational conditions of adequate security.
CCIA BOTOSANI processes the personal data received directly from you, as data subjects, or indirectly in the course of commercial/contractual relations and/or participation in fairs/events organized by CCIA BOTOSANI and/or within the CCIA BOTOSANI premises.
Personal data is collected either only with your consent/acceptance, if it is provided knowingly, willingly, on your own initiative, or at the request of CCIA BOTOSANI, for example through one of the online forms used, namely the online contact form, the online services order form, etc., by subscribing to newsletters (of course, only after you have opted in to receive these newsletters), participating in raffles and contests, by filling in the data in the account registration form on a CCIA BOTOSANI website, etc.
Use of this website and other CCIA BOTOSANI websites by you is subject to these provisions and the General Terms and Conditions of CCIA BOTOSANI.

What personal data does CCIA BOTOSANI process?
Processing of personal data means any operation or set of operations which is performed upon your personal data, whether or not by automatic means, such as: collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination, or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, blocking, erasure, destruction, storage.
To access the CCIA BOTOSANI websites, you do not need to provide any personal data.
In order to fulfill the tasks established by law and to carry out the current activity, including the contractual activity, as well as in order to apply the legal provisions, including those on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data (national legislation and EU-community law), CCIA BOTOSANI may request certain personal data.
For this purpose, CCIA BOTOSANI will process, among others, the following personal data: name and surname, telephone/fax, home/residence address, e-mail, profession, place of work, IP address, bank card no., card expiry date, CVV2/CVC2 code, etc.
Who are the people concerned?
The persons (data subjects) whose data may be processed by CCIA BOTOSANI exclusively for the purposes mentioned below are:
- Individual customers of CCIA BOTOSANI (current, former or potential), visitors, general public, their legal or conventional representatives/attorneys;
- Representatives / representatives / business contact persons (business / contractual partners, exhibitors, co-exhibitors, organizers, co-organizers, suppliers, service providers, tenants, etc. - current, former or potential) and public institutions / authorities.
Consequences of refusing to provide personal data
You, as the data subject, are obliged to provide complete, up-to-date and correct data.
In order to provide you with certain services specific to the activity of CCIA BOTOSANI, the personal data necessary for the provision of those services will be requested, and the refusal to provide such data may make it impossible to provide the services of CCIA BOTOSANI.
When you purchase a service provided by CCIA BOTOSANI, as well as when you participate in fairs/events/exhibition events organized by CCIA BOTOSANI, we will collect personal data in connection with the provision of those services. At the same time, as a visitor to the CCIA BOTOSANI headquarters, we will collect personal data (image, data processed by video surveillance systems, etc.) in order to fulfill legal obligations and carry out our current activity (legitimate interest).
By reading these provisions, and/or signing any document providing personal data to CCIA BOTOSANI, or by providing personal data in order to access CCIA BOTOSANI services or to attend/purchase tickets/pay the participation fee for events organized by CCIA BOTOSANI and or within CCIA BOTOSANI Business Center, the data subjects are informed and/or expressly consent (give their consent) to the processing of personal data in accordance with the legal provisions on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data (national and EU law).
If the processing of data is no longer necessary for the provision of a service, the fulfillment of a legal obligation, nor is it justified by a legitimate interest of CCIA BOTOSANI, data subjects may refuse such processing or withdraw their consent given previously, the refusal to be effective for the future. For example, data subjects may withdraw their consent to the processing of data for direct marketing purposes at any time and without the need to indicate a reason. Subsequent to the resolution of the request for withdrawal of consent, the data subject will no longer receive commercial information on the events/fairs/services offered by CCIA BOTOSANI.
What are the purposes of collecting personal data?
- To fulfill the legal attributions of CCIA BOTOSANI;
- Organization of fairs, exhibitions, fairs and other specialized events;
- Running the commercial/contractual activity of CCIA BOTOSANI;
- Invoicing and collecting the value of services offered by CCIA BOTOSANI;

CCIA BOTOSANI will consider all the information collected from you as confidential and will not share it with third parties (except for the organizers/co-organizers of events organized by CCIA BOTOSANI and or within CCIA BOTOSANI Business Center and/or business partners, as this situation is described below) without your express and prior consent.
Who are the recipients of your personal data?
Recipients of the data may be the (data) subjects who provided the personal data, as follows:
- Individual customers of CCIA BOTOSANI (current, former or potential), visitors, general public, their legal or contractual representatives/attorneys (for the purpose of commercial/contractual relations);
- Exhibitors, co-exhibitors, organizers, co-organizers, tenants, suppliers, service providers and other legal entities-business/contractual partners of CCIA BOTOSANI, public authorities/institutions;
Recipients (other than data subjects) of the data may be:
- Central and local public authorities, judicial authorities, police, public prosecutor's office (within the limits of legal provisions and/or following specific requests), banking companies, bailiffs, insurance and reinsurance companies, market research organizations (for statistical purposes), etc.
Confidentiality of personal data will be ensured by CCIA BOTOSANI and will not be provided to third parties other than those mentioned in this document.
Processing of personal data for promotional (marketing) purposes
Personal data provided by the data subjects (such as: name and surname, e-mail address, fax number, mobile/fixed phone number) may be processed by CCIA BOTOSANI in compliance with their rights, in particular the right to information and opposition, for the following purposes: marketing (including direct marketing), contests, advertising sweepstakes, commercial communications for CCIA BOTOSANI services, including those developed together with a CCIA BOTOSANI partner by any means of communication, including electronic communication services. The personal data provided by the data subjects may be used for promotional (marketing) purposes and for the products or services of other CCIA BOTOSANI partners, while respecting the rights of the data subjects.
If CCIA BOTOSANI intends to use your data for direct marketing purposes, (after the data subjects have opted in) the data subjects will be informed in advance. Data subjects may exercise their right to prevent such processing by checking the appropriate boxes in the forms/documents used to collect personal data.
Whatever the situation, if you would like your personal data to stop being processed by CCIA BOTOSANI, you can expressly ask us to stop any data processing on our behalf. At the same time, when you wish to stop receiving newsletters or information material from CCIA BOTOSANI, you can unsubscribe using the „Unsubscribe” or „Unsubscribe” button.
In your relationship with CCIA BOTOSANI, you benefit from the following rights according to the applicable legal provisions: the right of access, the right of rectification, the right to erasure, the right to restriction of processing, the right to data portability, the right to object and automated individual decision-making.
Duration of personal data processing
In order to achieve the aforementioned purpose, CCIA BOTOSANI will process personal data throughout the entire period of activities CCIA BOTOSANI, until the data subject, or the data subject's legal representative, expresses the right to object/right to erasure (unless the CCIA BOTOSANI processes the data on the basis of a legal obligation or legitimate interest). After the completion of the personal data processing operations, for the purpose for which they have been collected, if the data subject or his/her legal representative does not exercise the right to object/right to erasure, in accordance with the law, the data will be archived by CCIA BOTOSANI for the time period provided for in the internal procedures of CCIA BOTOSANI and/or will be destroyed.
What safeguards are used to protect your data?
In order to achieve the aforementioned purpose, CCIA BOTOSANI will process the personal data for the entire period of fulfillment of its duties, until the data subject or the legal representative expresses the right to object/right of erasure (except in the situation where CCIA BOTOSANI processes the data on the basis of a legal obligation or legitimate interest). Subsequent to the completion of the personal data processing operations for the purpose for which they have been collected, if the data subject or his/her legal representative does not exercise the right to object/right to erasure, in accordance with the law, such data will be archived by CCIA BOTOSANI for the time period provided for in CCIA BOTOSANI's internal procedures and/or destroyed.
In order to prevent the misuse of personal data and possible misuse, we use security methods and technologies, together with appropriate working policies and procedures, to protect the personal data we collect.
The complete security of data transmitted over the Internet can never be guaranteed. While CCIA BOTOSANI makes every effort to protect personal data, the security of data transmitted to CCIA BOTOSANI websites cannot be absolutely guaranteed. Any transmission of data is done at the data subjects' own risk. Once personal data is received, CCIA BOTOSANI uses strict procedures and safeguards against unauthorized, unlawful use, destruction, accidental loss or disclosure of personal data.
Banking data security.
In case of payments made by card (example: online ticket purchase), the commercialization is carried out through online payment solutions offered by authorized third parties in relation with CCIA BOTOSANI. In order to eliminate the risk that personal data may come into the possession and be misused/unlawfully used by unauthorized persons, the third parties authorized in relation with CCIA BOTOSANI guarantee the legality and security of personal data (card number, expiry date, etc.) and of the IT systems used.
Conditions for transfers of personal data outside the EU and the European Economic Area
Data transfers outside the EU and the European Economic Area can be made only under the conditions laid down by specific national and EU legislation on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.
What are your rights?
By reading this document, data subjects have been informed of their rights, according to the applicable legal provisions, respectively: the right of access, the right of rectification, the right to erasure, the right to restriction of processing, the right to data portability, the right to object and the automated individual process. At the same time, when processing is carried out on consent, data subjects have the right to withdraw their consent at any time in writing, addressed to CCIA BOTOSANI, under the conditions of the applicable legislation, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.
Data subjects also have the right to object at any time, free of charge and without any justification, to the processing of personal data for direct marketing purposes, using, where appropriate, the unsubscribe function included in the marketing materials.
For other purposes, data subjects shall have the right to object at any time, free of charge, to processing of the personal data they provide to CCIA BOTOSANI, specifying the data and the purpose for which they are to be processed, only for legitimate legitimate legitimate reasons related to their particular situation, unless CCIA BOTOSANI can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject, or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims. In the event of an unjustified objection, CCIA BOTOSANI is entitled to continue processing the data concerned.
By reading this document, the data subjects have acknowledged and understand that the personal data provided to CCIA BOTOSANI constitute determining elements for accessing the services offered by CCIA BOTOSANI and/or the performance of commercial/contractual activity.
If the data subjects, directly or through a representative, exercise the above mentioned rights in a manifestly unfounded, unjustified or excessive manner, in particular because of their repetitive nature, CCIA BOTOSANI may:
- charge a reasonable fee taking into account the administrative costs of providing the information or communication or of taking the action requested;
- or to refuse to grant the request.
Also, if the data subjects, directly or through a representative, exercise their right to object in a manifestly unfounded, unjustified or excessive manner, in particular due to their repetitive nature, CCIA BOTOSANI is entitled to consider the Contract concluded with the CCIA BOTOSANI Client as terminated by right, without any further formality or intervention of the courts, except for prior notice.

A legible copy of the identity card of the signatory will be attached to the application.
Data subjects are also recognized the right to lodge a complaint to a supervisory authority and to lodge a judicial remedy.
These provisions may change/update from time to time. We recommend that each time you use the CCIA BOTOSANI websites, you check these provisions so that you are always informed about them.
